Your 45-minute Initial Consultation (in-person, video, or phone) includes a pre-appointment questionnaire, a full review of your medical and family history, and a detailed discussion of your symptoms and lifestyle. We then create a personalised treatment plan - from hormone therapy to non-hormonal and lifestyle options. With your consent, we’ll send a summary to your GP. Your first prescription (excluding any pharmacy charges) and any recommended blood tests are also included.

Initial Consultation
Our Follow-Up Consultations are up to 20 minutes long, for existing Dr Menopause patients only. They provide ongoing support to fine-tune your care and manage symptoms effectively. Follow-Up Consultations are all done by online video consultation or phone call. They include a specialist consultation with a prescription (excluding any pharmacy charges) and a letter to your GP
We recommend a Follow-Up Consultation after three months of starting MHT, or for discussing a change in your treatment plan.
* If it has been one year since we have seen you, or if you have several things that you wish to discuss, you will need to book an Extended Follow-Up Consultation to allow enough time to review your history, symptoms, and current treatment plan thoroughly. Extended Follow-Up Consultations cost $250 and are up to 30 minutes long.

Follow-Up Consultation
We can provide ongoing prescriptions to existing Dr Menopause patients at a charge of $30 per script - not including any pharmacy charges. Each prescription is valid for up to to three months of medication.
Prescriptions can be requested via email, however a Follow-Up Consultation is required every six months for ongoing prescriptions. You may choose to get ongoing prescriptions from your GP instead.
